this is an ongoing project. i am machine embroidering and sewing a pillow for every suicide attack in iraq since the US invasion on March 20, 2003.

these pillows have detailed information about each attack, that is somewhat encoded. (see descriptions).
each pillow is about 6.5" x 6.5" x 2.5" the lace makes them as big as about 10" x "10 x 2.5"
one suicide bomber, in a SUV, 25 victims.
pillows with more than 25 victims have medium sized white lace around them.
one suicide bomber, in a truck, 10 victims.
pillows with more than 10 victims have small sized white lace around them.
five suicide bombers, in five cars, 74 victims.
pillows with more than 50 victims have large sized white lace around them.
two suicide bombers, with explosive vests, 117 victims.
pillows with more than 100 victims have small, medium and large sized white lace around them.
the back side of each pillow is embroidered with the date that the suicide attack took place and what was targeted.
one suicide bomber, with an explosive belt, 0 victims.
pillows where the attacker failed to kill anyone but himself have black lace around them.

-backpack bombs.
-boats, used to attack an ocean oil terminal.
-dump trucks.
